Pink, el cantante de un grupo musical, arrastra desde su infancia una serie de traumas debido a la dura educación que recibió. Cansado de todo lo que rodea su profesión, se acaba refugiando en las drogas como única opción para romper con el muro que él mismo ha creado a su alrededor. El guión fue escrito por el vocalista y bajista de Pink Floyd, Roger Waters. La película es altamente metafórica y rica en simbolismo y sonido. Presenta pocos diálogos y es conducida principalmente por la música de Pink Floyd.

La película contiene 15 minutos de elaboradas secuencias de animación creadas por el ilustrador Gerald Scarfe, parte de las cuales describe una pesadilla basada en un hipotético ataque aéreo de los alemanes sobre Inglaterra durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. También aparecen referencias a la esposa del protagonista y a su vida en general.

One of the more readily available and cheap blaxploitation albums, this should not be overlooked. Barry White, Love Unlimited and the Love Unlimited Orchestra really turn up the funk on a strong album featuring many short, stripped-down funk instrumentals and several larger-scale vocal numbers. Well worth the cheap asking price.
